Game Analysis:
What an exciting game we have coming up this Saturday! NC State against Purdue? Two teams that have been absolutely powering through the tournament so far, and I don’t expect that to change in any way. Honestly, when it comes to this game, I think that NC State has a real chance at an upset here.
Now, before we get ahead of ourselves, I do understand that Purdue is a formidable team. They have one of the most robust offenses in the NCAA and a plethora of amazing talent. Not only is their offense impressive, but they’ve also been on an absolute tear defensively in recent games. This team is definitely on a trajectory to continue to do some damage in this tourney. Could they win this game? Absolutely. Will they? I’m not so sure.
I’m leaning more towards NC State in this matchup. Scoring almost 80 points a game while allowing well under 70, this team is incredibly well-rounded and poised to make a run1. DJ Burns and DJ Horne have been unreal, putting up significant points in each game, and the supporting cast takes it to the next level. Not to mention the fact that they’ve been putting the hurt on teams so far in this tourney. They want to make a deep run, but can’t look past this game. I like NC State in this one.
