What a thrilling game we have in store for this round of the tournament. NC State against Connecticut? Two teams that have been absolutely blazing through the tournament so far, and I don’t anticipate that momentum to halt. Honestly, when it comes to this game, I believe that NC State has a real shot at an upset here.
Now, before we get carried away, I do acknowledge that Connecticut is a solid team. They have one of the most formidable defenses in the NCAA and a wealth of exceptional talent. Not only is their defense impressive, but they’ve also been on a remarkable offensive streak in recent games. This team is definitely on a path to continue to wreak havoc in this tournament. Could they win this game? Absolutely. Will they? I’m not so convinced.
I’m more inclined towards NC State in this matchup. Scoring a high number of points per game while allowing significantly less, this team is incredibly balanced and ready to make a run. Their performance in the tournament so far has been nothing short of spectacular, pulling off multiple upsets. They want to make a deep run, but can’t afford to overlook this game.
